SABER ist ein von der SASO neu-entwickeltes eigenes Zertifizierungssystem. Der Importeur startet online eine Zertifizierungsanfrage und zwar für alle Produkte, die der Importeur in das Königreich Saudi Arabien einführen möchte. Dafür registriert sich der Importeur auf www.saber.sa und wählt eine der anerkannten Zertifizierungsstelle, um die Anfrage zu bearbeiten.
Das neue Saudi Product Safety Programm SALEEM soll dabei das aktuelle Konformitätssystem der SASO phasenweise ersetzen. SABER, das neue online Registrierungstool soll somit den Prozess vereinfachen. Da das gegenwärtige Konformitätssystem abgeschafft wird, müssen nun alle Produkte, die unter das SALEEM Schema fallen über das online Tool SABER registriert werden.
SABER is a new certification system developed by SASO. The importer starts an online certification request for all products that the importer wants to import into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For this, the importer registers on www.saber.sa and chooses one of the recognized certification bodies, to process the request.
The new Saudi Product Safety Program SALEEM is intended to replace the current SASO conformity system entirely. SABER, the new online registration tool should simplify the process. Since the current conformity system will be abolished, all products falling under the SALEEM scheme must now be registered via the online SABER tool.
